A major key to life in the Spirit and hearing God’s voice is through fellowship with the Holy Spirit. From the time he received the Spirit until his death, King David highly valued his relationship with the Holy Spirit. David’s relationship with the Holy Spirit helped him to stay in God’s will and to do all that God wanted him to do (Acts 13:22).
