The Radical Middle is “the perfect balance between biblical truths in tension.” There are a number of such tensions in the Bible and Biblical truth is found in the radical middle, holding these truths in happy tension. The Quest for the Radical Middle: The danger of not holding truth in tension is that we end up in error and rationalize away scriptures that don’t conform to our understanding of truth. God has this tension intentionally in Scripture because we are no longer under law: We are under relationship.
